Who we are

What we collect

Things you give us

• Contact details: your name, email, phone number and organization when you order, ask for a quote or sign in.
• Shipping and billing addresses for your orders.
• Your designs and artwork: logos, images and text you upload or add in the designer, and the mockups and print files we make from them.
• Order details: the products, colors, sizes and quantities you choose, in-hands dates and notes.
• Tax-exempt certificates if your organization asks us not to charge sales tax.
• Messages you send us by email or through the quote form.

Payment details

Card and bank payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes straight from your browser to Stripe; we never see or store it. Stripe tells us things like the card brand, the last four digits and whether the payment went through. Stripe's use of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Things we collect automatically

• Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, which our hosting and security tools log to keep the site running and stop abuse.
• Cookies and similar tools. We use a few cookies the site needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cart. Your designer work-in-progress is also saved in your own browser.
• Analytics and advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and Google Tag Manager (which can load Google Analytics and Google Ads tags), to understand how people find us and to measure our ads. They record pages you view and actions like adding to cart, starting checkout and buying. When you check out or create an account, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, phone, name and ZIP so it can match the purchase to an ad; Meta can't read them back. You can turn this off at any time on Your privacy choices.

How we use it

• To make, print, ship and support your order, including sending art proofs and order updates.
• To answer quote requests and questions.
• To sign you in. We email you a one-time sign-in link instead of using passwords.
• To take payment, prevent fraud and handle refunds and disputes.
• To work out sales tax and keep the tax and business records the law requires.
• To keep the site secure and fix problems.
• With your consent, to measure and improve our ads and the site.
• To send you marketing emails, only if you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Order emails (confirmations, proofs, shipping) aren't marketing and will still come.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the store:

• Stripe for payments, saved payment methods and sales tax calculation.
• Supabase for our database, sign-in and file storage (including your uploaded artwork).
• Vercel to host the website.
• Resend to send email.
• Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots off our forms.
• Shipping carriers and label services so your order gets to you.
• Our blank-apparel suppliers and print partners, who may see your artwork and order details to make your products. [Confirm whether any printing is done by an outside partner.]
• Google and Meta for analytics and ad measurement, unless you opt out on Your privacy choices. Under some state laws this can count as "sharing" for targeted advertising.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business (in which case this policy keeps applying to your information).

Your artwork

Files you upload are stored privately. They aren't public on the site, and only you and our team can open them. We use your artwork only to show you mockups and to make your order. We won't use your logo in our own marketing without asking you first.

How long we keep it

We keep order, payment and tax records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually several years). We keep your account and saved designs until you ask us to delete them, so reordering is easy. Quote requests that don't become orders are deleted after [N] months. [Confirm retention periods.]

Your choices and rights

• See, correct or delete your information. Email team@merchcamel.com and we'll help. We may need to keep some records, such as past orders, for tax and legal reasons.
• Do not sell or share my personal information. Turn off our ad and analytics tracking on Your privacy choices (linked in every page footer). You can also block cookies in your browser (the cart and sign-in need some cookies to work).
• Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• State privacy rights. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have extra rights, such as to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, to opt out of "sharing" for targeted ads and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Email us to use them. We honor Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out of ad sharing: if your browser sends one, our ad and analytics tracking doesn't run. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep your files private, limit who on our team can see customer data, and never handle card numbers ourselves. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think something is wrong with your account, tell us right away.

Children

Our store is for adults ordering for their teams, schools and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Where we operate

We sell and ship only within the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or on the site. See also our terms of service.
